Where's My Map?
I didn’t plan to become a therapist—all I wanted to do was travel.
And travel I did.
Down twisting trails and winding roads, I found myself navigating unfamiliar terrain: my sexual identity, the realities of neurodivergence, the ongoing challenges of chronic illness, and the complexity of raising children with autism while also caring for aging parents.
At times, it felt like I was moving through landscapes I didn’t have language for, let alone a map.
I couldn’t quite locate myself within the complex intersection of being a neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adult.
And more than anything, I needed to be seen, heard, and understood.
How This Shapes My Work
That experience became the heart of my work and the foundation of how I show up as a therapist.
Today, I offer neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+-affirming therapy for adults and couples across British Columbia.
I support clients who are navigating:
-
Relationship challenges
-
Trauma and emotional overwhelm
-
Identity and sexuality
-
Life transitions and burnout
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I aim to create a space where you can settle in without needing to explain or justify who you are.
A space where:
-
Your experiences are taken seriously
-
Your identity is respected and affirmed
-
Your story can unfold at your own pace
Together, we make sense of patterns, explore what’s underneath them, and move toward a kind of healing that feels authentic, steady, and lasting.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
Traversing a new landscape alone can feel overwhelming.
But discovering it alongside someone, at a pace that feels right for you, can be deeply transformative.
I’d be honoured to travel alongside you, to come to know your story, and to support you as you find your own way forward.
